You get immediate access to your dashboard. The audit starts within a minute and takes 5 to 20 minutes depending on site size. You see the issues, the suggested fixes, and you can generate your accessibility declaration. Dashboard access stays open for 30 days. After that, you can activate continuous monitoring (€14/month) to keep access and get daily audits.

Is an automated audit enough to be RGAA-compliant?

Accepted Answer

No, and we don't pretend otherwise. An automated audit catches around 30–40% of non-conformities. The rest—semantics, meaningful alt text, keyboard pathways—still requires a human reviewer. Our tool prepares the ground, saves you dozens of hours, and produces the written record. For a signed official RGAA audit, you'll still need a human expert.

How is this different from a widget like AccessiBe?

Accepted Answer

A widget doesn't audit or fix your code—it overlays a settings panel in the browser. That does not make your site compliant. The US FTC fined AccessiBe $1 million in April 2025 for selling that misleading promise. We do the opposite: we audit your code, pinpoint the problems, and help you fix them for good.

Can I audit a WooCommerce site, a Shopify store, or a custom build?

Accepted Answer

Yes, on any publicly accessible site. Our engine runs axe-core and Playwright, which work on any web site. The native modules (PrestaShop first, then WooCommerce and Shopify) add a deeper integration but are not required.

Is my data hosted in Europe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All our infrastructure is hosted in Germany (Hetzner, Falkenstein / Nuremberg). Our sub-processors (Stripe, Brevo, Sentry, PostHog) are also EU-based or contractually committed to EU residency.

Is a subscription required to use ComplAudit?

Accepted Answer

No. You pay for the audit once (€225 for 1 site, €449 for 5 sites). Continuous monitoring (€14 or €29/month) is fully optional: you activate it after the audit, when you want, and you can cancel any time from your Stripe portal.

What happens after the 30-day post-audit access?

Accepted Answer

Without monitoring, your dashboard switches to read-only after 30 days: your results, your declaration, and your exports stay accessible, but no new audits run. To run a new audit, you can either buy another one-time audit or activate continuous monitoring and get daily audits.

Does the tool work on pages behind a login (cart, checkout, customer area)?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can provide test credentials; the tool stores them encrypted and uses them to audit pages behind the login (cart, checkout, account area). Never provide admin or production credentials.
